June 17

6 p.m. Silent Auction bidding begins

6 p.m. Concessions and Springville Art Show opens

6-10 p.m. Live Gospel and Bluegrass Music at the Pavilion

6 p.m. Cobbler’s Bench and Kid’s Games

6 p.m. Classic Car Cruise-in

June 18

6:30-7:30 a.m. Registration for Springville 5K

8 a.m. Springville 5K run/walk

8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Community Yard Sale – Back lot of Springville Elementary School. Vendor spaces start at $15, for more info contact Denny Godsey (812) 276-2173 or Melissa Matson (812) 583-2033.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Spring Creek Market – Springville Park; $1 admission

10 a.m. Cornhole Tournament; entry fee is $20 per team, cash prize for the winners

10 a.m. Concessions Open

10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Live Music

2 p.m. Line up for parade at Dennis Wellman Farm

4 p.m. Bidding closes for Silent Auction

4 p.m. Parade: 200 Years of Indiana Heritage; to enter a unit call Kim Thompson, (812) 583-8483, or Heather New, (812) 797-8483

6-10 p.m. Blind Rebel

Fireworks will start at dusk

Funds raised at the Springville Heritage Festival help support the Springville Park and Perry Township Volunteer Fire / EMS Inc.

Be aware that the signal for credit card processing is spotty, so stopping by the bank or ATM and grabbing some cash before you head our way is highly recommended.

Registration at 6:30 pm at the Old Gym

Judging will begin at 7:00 pm

$10 Admission Fee

0 -12 months

13 -24 months

25 – 36 months

Each child will be judged on:

Personality and interactions with the judges.

All proceeds go to the Springville Heritage Festival.

June 19

6-9 p.m. Car cruise-in at the park, Mark Baker, (812) 797-2263.

6-9 p.m. Cobbler’s bench, variety of cobblers and ice cream.

6-9 p.m. Baby contest, ages birth to 2 years, in the Springville gym. Entry fee is $10. Registration is Friday night; winners are announced Saturday. Call Julia Reynolds, (812) 279-1967.

6-9 p.m. Music at the pavilion featuring: Evening Light Gospel Singers, The Swangos, The Bakers and Leatherwood Valley.

6 p.m. Silent auction opens; bids taken until June 20th at 4 p.m. Up for grabs are tickets to zoos, Conner Prairie and the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. Call Tammy Holland, (812) 797-9450.

June 20

8 a.m. Springville Heritage 5K run/walk. Registration from 6:30-7:30 a.m., entry fee is $20 and includes a shirt. Door prizes and medals for age group winners. Proceeds benefit the park.

10 a.m. Kids games (three-legged race, Twister, tug of war, bean bag throw, balloon dart board), Chance Humphrey, (812) 797- 6638.

Noon-4 p.m. Jam session.

4 p.m. Parade. “Summer Fun” is the theme. Lineup at 3 p.m. Entries can register in advance or show up at 3, Kim Thompson, (812) 583-8483.

5 p.m. Convention Quartet – Southern Gospel Music

6 p.m. Bingo in the park shelter, $15 for 10 games, every gift is valued at $20 or more. Call Tammy Holland, (812) 797-9450

10 p.m. Fireworks display by Night Blasters. Recommended viewing at the Springville Elementary School or Springville Feeder Auction. **Rain date: Sunday 21st**

Both days: Flea market and vendors can rent a 20 ft. by 20 ft. booth for $40 inside or $20 outside. Electricity for additional $10. For more information, call Mark Baker at (812) 797-2263. Food booths are $150 for two days.

Parade:

Saturday, June 21st at 2:00

Line up for the parade will be at 1:00 pm.

There will be a wagon for ALL VETERANS, come on down and take a ride in the parade.

Come see the firetrucks, try on some gear and join in the coloring contest! The winners will possibly get a chance to ride on Engine 92 in the parade!
