2012 Christmas In The Park

__________________________________________________

Christmas In The Park
December 7, 2012
6 – 8 p.m.
Old Springville Gym

Christmas In The Park is a “thank you” to the community for donations and support through-out the year. This is a free event which will host a Chili Cook-off, Santa Claus, Christmas Music, Children’s Games and Karaoke, Hot Chocolate…and the best part: Christmas Trees will be given to a “Chosen Child.”

Springville Elementary School classes will decorate Christmas trees, then they will be used as decorations for our evening. After their bellies are full and children are exhausted – these trees will be donated to a “Chosen Child” and their family!! This is a wonderful Christmas gift and we need your help to make it possible.

We are asking for donations to purchase these trees for all 12 classrooms. We buy local trees and the average cost is $75.00. I collect the money and then buy all 12 trees for a better price.

Can you please help us out this year? You can sponsor a classroom if you want ~ please just notate that on the check. We appreciate all donations. Please call me and I will pick up your donation or please mail it to my home address:

Donations Needed

Hello Friends,

Once again, Kelly and I are helping sponsor Springville’s Annual “Christmas in the Park.” It is our great pleasure! This event is a “Thank you” to the community friends, family and children for donating their time and money to fundraisers which help support the Springville Park and Volunteer Fire Dept.

Once again, I am asking for monetary donations to help purchase Christmas trees for this event. The Springville School children will decorate these trees and then the tree will be donated to a chosen less fortunate child in that classroom. Last year was our first year to donate the trees and it was truly a blessing and honor! The children’s eyes were sparkling when they got to take home their classroom tree.

Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated. I will need your donation by November 30. All donations are tax deductible. This event will take place on December 3 – 6:00 p.m. at the Old Springville Gym.

Please come and join us. Bring your family and friends to enjoy the Chili Cook-off, Bonfire, Park Lighting Contest and Santa Claus. Please call or email any ? or concerns to me.
